Terra Nova is a rougelite Card game in wich the player leads explorations into a mythical jungle on a lost continent. Obtain items, customize your exploration and survive hostile environments.

This game was produced by one person as a Semester Project within three months. Furthermore this is my first digital project so there might still be bugs.

I think it has great potential bro! the only criticism I have is that there should be more types of cards in the first area, with more explanation on whats going on. I just found myself a bit confused with just text prompts feeling rushed and then just picking animals that I didn't quite understand.

Also, I did find one way to break the game:

If you choose an exibition and choose your workers, you can just hit the "back" button and reselect the exibition, and it will refresh your gold but keep your workers. I could even sell my workers back to stack up gold!

Again, I love what this is, those few things are the only things that kept me from craving more and more

Hey, thanks! I'm glad you like it.
Yea, this was the first game I ever made with only 3 months of time as a uni project, so it's all a bit unpolished :D.

I've been playing with the idea of remaking it for a while now! I really like its concept and most of the illustrations I made, but I feel like I can do better by now. This was my second semester project for my game design studies and who knows, maybe I'll make a remake for my Bachelors thesis or even after that if I find the time!
Out of curiosity, even with the existing errors, how far did you come before stopping?

I did 5 exibitions total, really loved the lore system concepts and the idea of finding alternate answers by hiring more scholars. Great touch. I was in the 2nd area briefly before I hopped of

I really think a revamp would be awesome, especially if you've gotten more comfortable with all design and code aspects! And hey, I just started my dev journey from an online class, I'm super fresh. However, I've got some major ambitions and I'm actually looking to go hard on a team project AS SOON as i'm slightly more comfortable and I know how to phrase questions for google and Unity.

If you are cool with it, I'd love to add you and pick your brain on a variety of things!

Well the further you get in this game, the better the art but the worse the polish gets :D

Sure if you have any questions regarding unity  development or game design in general hit me up!

Game jams are a great way to get comfortable with development btw. I can highly recommend that.

Hey hey, nice game !

Thanks alot, glad you like it!
